Art blogging

So I decided to create a blog with a few bits of art, who knows how often I'll update it, but at least it's something right? :P

chaos

This image was done for a game clone called RTC or "Return to Chaos" a 2D dungeon romp.

scottish_morning

An Image painted of my wife for fun.

Photobucket

small image done for my friends son, he had written a story for school that was a multiple choice adventure and quite an elabourate effort, So I made this image based on one of the scenes.

Photobucket

this one is a book illustration for a monster book

Photobucket

Another illustration for a seperate book in the same series.

Photobucket

few images from a series of 10 or 12 seperate stages of a concept which later moved on to then doing the body. This was to be a wild elf character for a game.

Photobucket

warrior snail image.. sort of an in joke for a friend of mine. Lot's of fun to make though.

Photobucket

an early and still incomplete drawing, the background was made about 3-4 times trying to decide what to put there and is now just a fuzzy sketch behind the more detailed characters, as is the water around them. This was for a Tshirt contest, but turned out to be too busy so it was abandoned.

So there's a small sample of some older works, all completed with photoshop. As I said, I may post newer things later as I get them online.

  1. Hi,

I work for Conservation magazine, a small nonprofit environmental science publication in Seattle, Washington. We're doing a story on armor designed using snail shells as inspiration, and we came across your image of the snail with a helmet. Would it be possible to use that picture alongside the story? Please let me know - you can contact me at amelia.apfel@gmail.com. Thanks!

  2. Hi Adam, you sent me a message last month saying that Di Renzo Arte was using my work as his own - I couldn't find any of my work within his gallery, but I did notice my previous teacher's work (Jacob Collins)... did he remove the piece? Thanks, and sorry I couldn't find a more direct way to contact you.
